Advent Retreat Day 14: Holy Discontent

Hello Friend. Awakening of the Heart Advent Retreat. Our focus on day fourteen is holy discontent, persistently pursuing Jesus through prayer for the breakthroughs.Let us pray, Jesus we come before you with hearts open to the call of holy discontent, the cry for the more of God.  You gave us a parable in the gospel of Luke that encourages us to pray and never give up, reminding us that you are always attentive to our prayers. We embrace the relentless pursuit of you, knowing that our fervent prayers can lead to powerful breakthroughs. In moments of discouragement or weariness, help us to continue to seek you. Apostle Paul encourages us as believers to be steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord because our labor in the Lord is not in vain. Thank you for the encouragement to not grow weary of doing what is right because in due time we will reap a harvest of blessings. Help us, Jesus, to stay passionate for you as we keep praying earnestly, even when answers seem distant. May our prayers be infused with hope, persistence, and trust in your divine timing. Every tear, every plea, and every moment of seeking draws us closer to you. Empower us to persevere, confident that you, Lord Jesus, hear our petitions. May you keep our hearts awake to the divine promise that you are at work in the unseen. We trust you for more signs, wonders, and miracles in our lives to the glory of God. Amen.
