Advent week 1: Hope

In this episode of Your Week with St. Luke’s, we launch our new Advent series, A REEL Christmas: You Can’t Make This Up, exploring how beloved Christmas films help us make sense of a world that often feels unbelievable—yet the hope God offers is even more extraordinary. Pastors Jenn, Melissa, and Jad reflect on Isaiah 9, the theme of hope, and the surprising promise that God’s light enters the world not through power, but through a child. As we begin the Christian year, this episode invites you to clear space for wonder, confront cynicism, and prepare room for Christ to be born anew in our lives.
