Parsch speaks to us from the 20th c. about St. Ambrose, Bishop and Doctor, whose feast it is today. We hear at the beginning a snip from the gracious Advent chant album by the Benedictine nuns of Gower Abbey.  It is an English rendering of the beautiful Advent hymn by Ambrose Veni Redemptor gentium.
