Adventure, Music for Deaf, Sense Ensemble - Composer Musician George Higgs - C_A_N_ PROJECTS PODCASThttps://soundcloud.com/higgs-george-charleshttp://www.georgehiggs.com/George Higgs Charles is music composer, artist, twitter poet and all round renaissance man.Born in Pennsylvania, George Higgs has worked for the last 25 years in Ireland as a composer.His music has been performed across Ireland, in Russia and the United States and he has received numerous awards and honors including a grant from the Welcome Trust, the Director's Prize from the Chamber Orchestra Kremlin, numerous Arts Council awards and a MacDowell Fellowship. He holds a PhD from Trinity College Dublin and is represented by the Contemporary Music Centre of Ireland.George has written operas, is working on his 3rd novel, has had his works performed in Carnegie Hall, The Kremlin and the Irish wax Museum.And also does great work work Waterford Healing ArtsAmong other musical and artist adventures, we will be speaking about Georges project with the Sense Ensemble and ways and means for the community to experience and express music.-------------------C.A.N.
