You're listening to the Wisps. It's Wasatch, investigative studies of paranormal stuff. Wait, no. Wasatch investigates the science of...
Wasatch. Wasatch. It's the Wisps. They're Wisps.
Listen, it's okay. It's the Wisps. Happy awesome, fun time, paranormal adventure show. Seriously, dude, you need to get a better name.
I'm not kidding. And after about the 5th fault start because of a keyboard that only has an A and an S key that works. Whist Show Episode 4 is coming at you live from Hefei Studios in beautiful Utah County. Hello.
That would be Lurch. Yes. That would be Hefei. And coming in late and holding us all up would be D.M.
Yeah, that would be me. D.M. Why were you late? Okay, so last week my husband had me drive his Camaro so that I could stop at the car wash and wash it.
And I did not do it. So I... Wait a second, a man let you use his Camaro? Yes.
Wow. So... Hold on, hold on, hold on. Back up here.
So last week between the 5,000 rainstorms we had morning and noon and night, you were supposed to wash the Camaro? Well, it was two weeks ago. Yes. Yes.
And I didn't do it. And so... You found God washed it with the rain. It's God's car wash.
So I had to stop by the car wash today and do it to redeem myself. You trapped in the car, but you out. Well, and then I discovered that you cannot call Castle from inside the automatic car wash because all I hear is it's shh. So you took the car to the car wash after it rained all day and it's going to rain tomorrow and the next day most likely?
Okay. Okay. Hold on. I got it back up real quick back to the phone call part before we talk about that.
She calls me from the car wash and my phone says, Deann. Look, oh Deann's calling me. I wake up and say I'm inside the car wash with the temperature she says, I was just like my mom. I'm like, oh no, if I would have known that, I would have never would have answered.
I answer when your mom calls me. Yeah, I know. I keep talking to her about that. Your mom's nice, Lindy.
Yes, she is. Okay. Such things were going to help you. So...
You are. Probably. My husband did say if it rains, that's okay. So he sent me to the car wash knowing full well that it's probably going to rain on it.
I was going to say that there's a pretty good chance that it's going to rain. Yeah, right. It's a Camaro. I'm complaining because I like to drink water.
I was just complaining while she was washing the car. I think it's like 40% before the end of the night too. I actually kind of like when it rains because like then I don't have to wash my car and I can look at it being older and go, yeah. Anyway, so let's get started tonight.
I know last, I wanted to say last week, I guess it was two weeks since we got over here. Last episode. Thank you. That's what I wanted to say.
Last episode. We had a Boo Bear naming contest to see what we were going to name Deann's Boo Bear. And we had a lot of submissions, so thank you everybody for sending submissions. And everyone took this very seriously.
I think Deann took it a little too seriously. I was having a bad day. And actually, interestingly enough, I even got some submissions from some of the Pod Goblins gamey Boo Bear names. Cool.
Yes. Awesome. Do we want to do that before we announce a winner? Oh no, no.
Let's hear who the winner was. Or we can make whoever's listening. Just wait. No, it's anticipation.
There's a song I'm not currently Simon. You have the names. Well, we voted on it last night and there were a lot of really good suggestions. They were all really good.
I don't think there was a bad one in the law. But the winner you mentioned was one of the WIS members that's a name. So we did show a runner up as well. And what we did is we just throw all the names into a pool, if you will, and it ended up that actually a WIS member did win.
But I want to take a listener to the Ghost Hunt with us because I don't think that's really cool. Say, hey, we're having a contest and the winner gets the winner goes to us. And the winner is one of us. Haha.
Screw you, everybody. Yeah. Well, and then we didn't really make it clear that the other WIS members probably shouldn't submit. Like radio contests, you know?
I'm not glad that the name was awesome. So we can't have to go with it. But because of that, yeah, actually, we need to talk really fast after we have a contest with all the legal jargon. Processed by the original, so we said, you know, it's a different name.
Yeah. Exactly. Anyway, but it's an awesome name. It really is.
The name that won was Annabear. Kind of like Annabel the doll, but it's Annabear. Now, because it ended up being a WIS member who won, and we didn't realize that as we were picking names, we did pick a runner up from the listeners because we do want to take a listener with us. And I, again, think it's kind of crappy that we wouldn't.
So we're definitely taking a listener. And our runner up was the person who picked the name, Daddy Teddy. Now, Deann and her lateness, washing her car in the rain. We didn't bring the list of who submitted the name, Daddy Teddy.
But we do have that information and we'll be contacting them tonight. If I can actually go probably know that they won before this podcast ever airs. Yeah. And next podcast, we will announce the actual name so that you can all be jealous of that person.
Now, I do want to go through a couple of names that I really liked and I really think might have shown one. And some of these are ones that were submitted also by some of the thought goblins. Okay, wait a minute. Before we do that, the name, one of the names that I really, really liked was Marley.
I like that one too. We talked about this last time. Bob Marley. That's what I said last time.
Bob Marley. See, Deann thinks of Jacob Marley from, hey, that's a good story. Jacob Marley's. But everyone thinks of Marley.
You're a Marley. You're a good boy. Marley's a mean spurt of the dog. You know, the dog.
You know, I just think it like Marley just reminds me like, well, you said Carly Simon earlier. I just think like some cheesy. Okay, you're gonna make someone feel bad. It was awesome.
Can't do the podcast. Just call him Jacob Marley. I don't like Marley. Anyway, sorry if I make me feel like either.
I know up to you. You're a wisp member. If you recommended Marley, we love you. I love to do it.
I love to do it. I told Deann still gonna call it Marley and all forever. Refer to it as the teddy bear trigger object. I didn't use any names at all.
But I did bring some of the names I really liked and I'm cool. Let's go through those. Yeah. And I specifically have metered, Dan hasn't seen these particular names.
I know where you live. First one I really liked was Tae Kruger. That's cute. I like that.
That's pretty good. That's pretty good. That's cute. That's the right word.
And then Greg Pascal from Greg's New Music Guide recommended Barry White. I'm not sure I get it. Oh yeah. Is the bear white?
It's making time. No Barry like B. A.R. Maybe I'm just really tired.
Yeah. You look tired. Sorry Greg. You're a ghost.
Yeah, it's good. We actually in Tae Fae's defense, we took him on his first ghost hunt tonight. We'll talk about that coming up. And by tonight I actually meant last night.
You gotta forgive me. I'm running on fumes or I think we're all kind of running on fumes. We're all running on like four hours of sleep and extra rebels. You know, it's really interesting though because actually ghost that last night.
He was like skipping on the hall order stuff on his phone for like ghost equipment because he was like really into it. I think we have a convert. We made him a believer. I think that was the ghost that you mistook.
It wasn't me. Did I say your name? I think I might say your name. No, you said have to have a.
Oh, my name. Hefe. All right. I'm trying to be careful because we all use the name.
Again, we're all very tired. Yes. Maybe we should have like little three by five cards hanging around our net. Hello.
My name is Hefe. So let's hear more of the names then. All right. So we had a Teddy Krueger, Barry White, Barry Potter.
Oh, it's kind of funny. Sorry. It's under my throat. I was kind of hoping for your batting or saxine with I've got a magic room.
Oh, wait, wait, go back and do it again. Say it again. Barry Potter. Oh, I've got to make a broomstick.
Someone should text me so you can hear my text. And there's Carly Simon. Deans got a ringtone from Harry Potter. It's really creepy when you're ghost investigating and it's dark and it goes off.
The next one we had was Toots McSharty. Yes. Wow. That one would have won.
Cheers McSharty. With this group, that one would have won. Here's our Boo Bear Toots McSharty. We had a.
I like that one. Everyone seen Toots. Our next one coming up was a Teddy Bundy. Yes.
That is beautiful. And seen Teddy Bundy. That's pretty good. I don't think it's a big one.
We can blame it. You'll find that one. I don't think it's a big one. We can name it Ariel Castro.
Now we used to have investigators last named Cox and in honor of that investigator, I came up with this with myself. And since it's a little bear, I figured we'd call it Piney Cox. Hey, didn't. Malpina syndrome is no joke.
You're all laughing. Is everyone laughing? Same a little defensive over there. Hey, I'm proud of my three inches.
Now, can I say that? I think Dan's Matt, Phil and Mrs. Smecky. Oh, so you.
Yes. Matt. Phil and Mrs. Smecky as well.
And he's a good friend of ours. We like Phil. Phil recommended this one. And that's the bear formerly known as Boo.
And for those who know Phil, he's a huge prince fan. But no, Phil. No. So we would have to have a symbol for the bear.
The bear formerly known as Boo. Now the last one. This one's mine. I came up with this one, but I didn't submit it because it's bad.
It's really bad. It's too awesome for the world. That means it's really dingleberry. Yes.
Dingleberry. Yes. Yeah. And this is why we did not like Gary name to be there.
I would have voted for either dingleberry or to Smecky. Yes, you would have had fun. I got the awkward silence. These people are shutting off the podcast.
I've had enough. Again, there's no joke about small penis syndrome. Where do you type people? Other podcast going to talk to my bishop?
All right. Anyway, so that was our Boo Bear contest. Like I said, we'll be contacting the winner. And we decided that we're going to use Dedi Teddy as the last name.
So it's going to be Annabelle Dedi Teddy. But I will be contacting the winner before this podcast actually airs. And we are excited to see you at the undisclosed location that we're going to be investigating. And again, we'll announce your name at the next podcast.
That's my bad. Sorry. Another thing I'd like to talk about real quick. I'm going to be putting up a poll on the WISPS website, WISPS.org.
And I'm just kind of curious. I know that the Podgoblins, Changa, and crew are working feverishly except a ghost hunt. I've kind of had an idea of running on my head. This actually needs to be in the room because I've not spoken of this idea.
Also like my bare name. It's too good for this world. But I'll bring up anyway. I kind of think of the idea of maybe a VIP ghost hunt and a VIP ghost hunt.
It'd be a public ghost hunt, but a little bit smaller than a standard public ghost hunt. It would include dinner. Anyway, I'd just like to get an idea from folks to see kind of what the deer hunt have to apply for it. Kinda, it would be a lot smaller.
And this is, I'm thinking out loud here. So this is not a done deal. But you know, again, thinking out loud, I'm not committing anybody to anything. But they'd be essentially, if it worked the way I would like it to work, it'd be dinner with Changa.
Maybe, maybe not in Hanson. I don't know. Would there be candlelight? Maybe.
Something. Maybe. As I stare deeply into Changa and then Hanson's eyes. I said they wanted to make a picture of that Hanson.
Speak you, which anyway. I got them too. You hear that, Ben? I got the pictures.
Five grand in their yours. This is why I've no been just got married. Anyway, the poll is I just curious to see what a reasonable price point would be for something like that. Ghost hunts are expensive by the very nature.
Just because a public cut, you got to pay the venue. Most of the money for public ghost hunt goes to paying the venue and getting access to the venue. But at the same time, it has to be worth the while of those putting on the ghost hunt. And nobody's making huge profits or anything like that off these ghost hunts by any means.
Anyway, if you guys could visit our website and look at that poll, I would greatly appreciate it. Like I said, I'm just thinking out loud. I'm not coming anybody to anything. So Changa, please don't let me down and kill me because Changa's bigger than I am.
So give us your feedback. Exactly. Yeah. Give us your feedback.
And again, it's just an idea we're playing with. So let me know. Would you be up for something like that? Listeners, collective view.
Yeah. And if that's something you think is just stupid, then let us know too. If I can even put this is stupid on the poll. And if you think it's a dumb idea, then I appreciate knowing that too.
Before we get a little further into the actual paranormal stuff, you guys are probably screaming at us because we haven't actually talked about any paranormal stuff. I do want to take a minute and just talk about some of the other shows on Pog Goblin. Greg's Guide to New Music is doing very well. And everybody should go give Greg a listen.
In fact, I'd like to get Greg on here to guess. I know he's invited us to come be guests on his show. He's a good guy. At the future time, I love Greg.
Greg's awesome. He is. And his show is great if you're looking for something music-wise that isn't on the radio. He's got kind of an eclectic taste in music.
And he actually has pretty good taste in music. Obviously, Radio Ronan is doing good, 8-bit arcade, and Kenny in the last radio Ronan kind of called us out. And so with Kenny. Kenny, don't hit the player.
Hit the game. Wait, here's what I figured. Next time we have a public event, I'm going to challenge Kenny to a fight. Well, I'm a casselist, a casselistic pacifist.
So you're thinking maybe you'd appreciate putting in a pool with each other? Kinda. See, but my pacifism is very limited in a way. I think I saw something like that late night on Showtime.
Well, my pacifism is I'm not opposed to violence unless it's directed towards me. So I'm okay to shing out the violence, but I don't like receiving the violence. So I'm thinking maybe a pillow fight that may evolve into a tickle fight. Hey, wait, wait, wait, are Speedos involved?
Maybe. Hey, what about those big bubbles where you walk around like a big marshmallow in your arms to stick out? The giant inflatable sumo wrestler costumes? I can say Kenny, is it into this?
I'm going to be the big spoon and I'm coming for you, buddy. Hey, rather than the whole dinner and ghost time thing, I think we ought to do a poll on how you and Kenny should go out at it. Speedos, mud wrestling. Can I use the word go at it?
That's making it more comfortable. I'm just calling it like maybe dook it out. I'm like, all the like it is. At this point, I'm starting to come from maybe we should just go with a straight out a broad sword by the flag pole at a great school.
Careful. Broad swords could be a euphemism for something else. Anything could be a euphemism. He's coming for you, Kenny, with his broad sword.
Look out. Anyway, no seriousness, go check out Kenny, she'll make and sell. It's also very good. He's just jealous.
So let's talk about 749 last night. What'd you guys think? It was awesome. It was a successful investigation.
There was a thunderstorm and there was a lot of just energy in the air and having a chance to listen to anything on my digital recording yet, but I know that we've got a lot of really good stuff. I mean, just from the K2 meter going off as much as it did, I know that we had to have a lot of evidence. Yeah, one of the gals out there said, you know, she came in, I just kind of parked in the conference room because I was trying to test out Anna Baradetti Teddy with Christian and Jessica and the spirits that are there. It was about the Adebel, the Daddy Teddy.
She's not dead. She's an Adebel. But she's a Teddy for the daddies. So anyways.
And Misty came in after a while. She's a gal that works out there and we had been having, they didn't play with the trigger bear a whole lot, but they were spiking our K2s almost almost constantly. And she came in and she says, usually when those K2s spike clear to the red, something big happens either. You see them, you get a sound, you get an EDP.
And so I'm very interested to listen to my EDPs. I haven't had a chance to. Yeah, the K2 meters were spiking to the red a lot. We've got a lot of picture evidence, a lot of evidence.
Interestingly, Naf and I, don't think I've told any of you guys this one, I was driving home last night at 2 to 3am. Brad, who's one of our guests, we usually do an annual asylum investigation. And I call it the WIS family and friends investigation right in bite. Obviously the WIS team, I tell everybody, hey, you can bring a friend or a relative because there's people who always want to investigate.
It's not always appropriate for us to bring a guest to somebody's home. And so these are the kind of venues where it actually works out pretty good. And Brad was actually one of those guests. He hadn't been on a, he'd been on one investigation years ago back, he's somewhere.
But him and a gal he's dating came out. But he was there on venue listening to EVPs. I don't know if you guys saw him doing that or not, but he was actually listening back to his recordings on site. But about two AM he called me and he actually has a really good, clear, crystal, class A EVP.
I haven't had a chance to put it together yet to play it here on the show. But basically, I think it involves you, Lurch. Really? Yeah, you're talking with Brad and he basically asks, what is your name?
There's a very clear mic on the EVP. And by the way, listeners, to hold me to that mic because I haven't actually heard the EVP yet, he still has it. And so it might be like, or something similar, but we will play that in a future date. How do you know it wasn't mic?
Like, you know, Michael Jackson. It very well could have been. I don't know. In fact, he actually, I think Lurch was there with me last night when he was playing some other audio that he caught.
And he had some really strange clicking, knocking or knocking at me. But right before then, there's a very distinct whisper. And I told him, I said, you know, when you get home, throw that on some audio software and actually boost the audio right there. Because that whisper sounded suspiciously like an EVP.
Generally, if I'm listening to audio, I'll pick a whisper like that and crank it up and I'll usually find an EVP. Usually not the best quality when you hear it as a whisper on just room ambience level as far as the volume goes, but it's usually a class BEDP, which once you boost the volume significantly, you can hear it. No, that was my second time there at asylum. And the first time I think we had a large group about 30-40 people last night, there was only about 12.
But between the smaller size group and the just energy in the air from the electrical storm, like I said, we had just so much activity with a K2 meter. And I was carrying mine around with me with my digital recorder. And I really felt like something was just following me around all night because my K2 meter was staying lit up as I'm walking around the place. You know, I'm glad you brought that up because that brings up a story.
I'd like to tell a story. Yeah, well, wait, one thing first and then I'll tell a story. Just as we walked in, usually when I walk into asylum 49, and as I've mentioned before, I can feel spirits. You all feel one or two and you go in this room and you feel a couple here and you go in this room, you feel a couple there.
When I first walked in and I was walking down the hall, it felt like the hall was just lined with people. And I thought... Yeah, I know that the hall felt really thick walking as well. Yeah, and I thought this is going to be a good night.
And I'm not sensitive at all, but I really felt like there was something following me around. And at the end of the night, sure enough, I went by Brandy P. And she's like, I think there's something with you. So yeah, we took some precautions and made sure that whatever was which leads to my story.
Back when I was a wee young lad of 21 years of age, I'm a religious guy. I actually attended an LDS mission back many moons ago when I used to take your scriptures and get on your horse and head off to the east. Anyway, when I came back to my mission, I would attend these singles wars. And for those who are not LDS or who are outside of Utah and don't know what I'm talking about, these are like church congregations that are specifically designed for young people to meet.
So usually the congregants or ages, oh, 18 to mid 2030, right in that range. And I without a fail would attend these single awards. And I'm a religious guy, but I'm not like weirdly religious. And I think I can define really religious pretty easy thought of fending anybody because I don't think anybody really religious would be listening to a paranormal show.
But by religious guy, I mean, you know, I believe in the tenets of the religion I belong to and I follow them to the best of my ability, but I'm certainly not perfect. I may go pick up a fountain drink on on the Sabbath. And anyway, without getting too far into that, whenever I go to these singles awards, without a fail, the most oddball ultra conservative, crazy religious, like I think on Saturday, because it's too close to Sunday religious type of gals would cling on to me, like a Star Trek Klingon. And I could never get rid of them.
Like all the girls I was actually interested in in these singles awards wouldn't talk to me because I'd have this Klingon following me around whenever I went to these singles awards. Was it the same one every week or was it? Well, I went to like three or four singles. I'm not a handsome guy.
I took me a while to find somebody who had poor eyesight and bad judgment. But you know, I go to any singles word, just that gal, the one gal in the word who's weird would follow me around. The gal who I asked if she'd seen Jurassic Park and she said no, because it was rated PG-13. Anyway, the point of the story, besides the fact that I like stories, whenever I go anywhere with lurch, and lurch has been learning Latin because we deal with a lot of Latin with a lot of the negative entities, without fail, I'll go to a venue.
And there could be a venue with like care bear spirits, like happy, it's giving them hallway care bear spirits. And next thing I know, lurch is over there because you caught a saying stuff in Latin. What does it say? Quiz-po-coddess.
That would be it right there. And as soon as I hear Quiz-pikoddess, all of a sudden he has got the Klingon evil spirit, following him around all night long, just like the girls from my singles words. So every venue we go to, this dark storm cloud of evil follows lurch around all night long, and it kills me because it's not like just a silence, it's like every place we go to. Yeah, yeah.
I mean, what can I say? I enjoy Latin, and I enjoy calling out the dark stuff. Well, I mean, it's like my checklist, like at the end of that I'm like, okay, K2 meter, check. I'll your recorder, check.
Cast evil spirits from lurch, check. Well, maybe they hang around you because they know you can speak the language. Yeah, I think that's what it is. I have a friend.
Again, like you, I'm religious. I believe in my faith as well, but the things that excite me are the dark stuff. Okay, so you know what your theme song is now? You've got a friend to me, you can start singing that though.
You got afraid of me. My buddy. You got afraid of me everywhere I go. He's got to go, my buddy.
So your job is now to learn that song in Latin. Oh man, I'm not sure I can translate that. If I were going to make you sing that at the end of every hunt. No, in Latin.
You know, you're right though. I think once I start speaking Latin, that kind of gets their attention like, oh, hey, this dude is a formidable opponent. He talks like me. He knows more than just English.
I should go to his house and hang out. But that's really why I think I had something following me around all night and Brandy Pete and saying thing. But I think it was something dark and malicious and evil following me around. And so at the end of the night, I made sure that didn't follow me.
Well, it's really interesting as I have made it a point not to be scared of those things because that's kind of what they feed off of. And so I'm not afraid to go where they're at. Exactly. I'm not afraid to, not her mind.
You know, go down the scary hall by myself. I just, I don't care because I don't want to be scared because that's what they feed off of. And so at the end of the night, because I know you pick up these little hitchhikers every time we go somewhere. So Brandy Pete was there after he left.
I'm like, all right, let's go. I'm kind of looking at her waiting for her to say, you got one too. But I don't seem to pick them up like you pick up. I make sure the way I pick up weird girls.
I just make sure they don't follow me home. That's all. So I'm kind of in between. You pick up weird girls.
You pick up weird spirits. Crazy spirits. Just to clarify for my wife, I picked up past tense strange girls in my youth. I just bring home weird stuff.
So you're the one that suggested teddy bunny then. No one knows what happened to those strange girls. That's, that's why you have that bloody hatch at your truck if you're perfect. Nobody knows what happened to those strange girls.
Perfect. And why I had to move from single sport to single sport. Sit on wedding invitations after each murder. They come married and moved away.
So I have a 49 was your first investigation. And I, I kind of already talked to you. So I kind of already know what your thoughts on it were. But for the audience, why don't you share kind of some of your thoughts on your first ghost investigation.
What did you like? What didn't you like? What are kind of your thoughts and theories and feelings? Share your feelings with us.
I met a ghost named Wesley. We became friends. I took pictures of him with me and I had my arm around him. He sat by me because the EMP told me he did.
He liked to be with some butt-headed impersonations. And he was into brunettes. We bonded. And then I left him there.
But in all seriousness, you know, Wesley's kind of sounds like a pet filer. So did he give you candy and invite you in the back of his van? You want to come see my Ouija boy? He was a good guy.
No, I like puppies and lollipops. No. In all seriousness, my skepticism remains. The problem I have is when you're talking actual physical evidence and what you could take to a court and testify, you could not take this to a court and testify that it goes spoke to you.
What you could take to court is testify that the EMP meter went off when you asked her the question. Which is, which is, EMP meter. Sorry. Sorry.
EMF. That's what it said. EMF meter. EMP.
Yeah. We have a clear question. We ring those with us. Yeah.
No. Well, I am an idiot to be fair, but I wasn't going to say that. Anyway, but no, you could not go to a court and testify that it goes spoke to you. All you could do is say, when I asked her this question, the EMF meter went off.
Which is very circumstantial and coincidental. Which is very interesting. And I would actually agree with everything you've said, because quite frankly, if you could prove it that convincingly, it wouldn't be, I mean, it'd be a scientific fact. Exactly.
At which point I would no longer remain a skeptic. And but, and I don't want to say I'm challenging you because I'm not challenging you, but yes, I am. With ghost hunting, a lot of its experience as well, and what I mean by that is when you go out and you've caught some EMPs, once you you consistently catch EMPs and you consistently, and last night, depending where you're at, I was probably a little bit negligent last night in the, oh, I'm thinking I'm like, I was probably a little bit negligent last night in that I let the three skeptics go off by themselves. But I enjoyed that in all fairness because here's why, because we hung out on the side of the building that there was allegedly demons and portals and stuff like that.
Say the D word. Don't say the D word. Sorry. Negative entities.
Hey, I'm exempt. I don't have to follow the rules. I can call them what I want. I'm called poop head.
Well, that was that was the side of the building where we got to before some people had come to the venue and brought a Ouija board without the an actual Ouija board without the the venue owners knowing and they were caught playing with it, playing with the Ouija board. And, uh, yeah, we're all 12. Yeah. And so, you know, when you when you play the stuff like that, you don't know the potential of what it's going to cause.
You're opening up gateways to things that you don't know. Just for just just just a little service announcement here. Um, asylum 49 does not approve of that behavior. So if you're going to go to asylum 49 and you're listening, leave your Ouija board and also just for the record for a sound 49 because it's run by some very good people who are very good friends of mine.
Um, and the entities in the sound 49 are overwhelmingly benign entities. Uh, there's a couple that are just grumpy. Yeah, some kind of ones, but now they've really opened up something bad. Put your potential.
Yes. Uh, you know, I'd be honest with you. We didn't have any terrible experiences there. Last night's version.
They give us stuff goes. Someone got poked. Yes. Yes.
And she she has a, uh, she has a bruise. Uh, Marissa, uh, who's one of our investigators actually got, uh, jabbed in her arm and actually left a bruise and she got goose. She she had her butt pinched. Was it her or was that was Brad's date?
Okay. But I don't know who was. It was a dark room. Yeah.
She's got a girl. Hold on a second. Brad's on a date. He's going to pinch her butt.
But good for you, Brad, because you know, that's what you do when you're on dates. Problem is that Brad was actually standing in front of her. So it couldn't have been Brad. Hey, those are got to be some long arms.
I'm proud of you, Brad. Well, Castle actually gooseed me. I may or may not have enjoyed that. See with all this gooseing going on, I don't know how you can determine what was the spirit and what's not.
What just everyone. Hey, if you decide to ever go on a ghost hunt with the wisps, just know it's just a giant grope fest, either, either by spirits or by the other wisp members. I'd pay to do that. I'd pay to go on that venue.
I think that's a formal prostitution. It evolves into tickle fights. Okay, but I want to go back to the thing because you guys are talking about these negative entities down this hallway. And I hung out there all night and I didn't feel anything and I didn't see anything and I'm good.
So one thing to think about is anything. The first time you do something, it's not going to be the full experience, whether it's a musical instrument, whether it's a new job, anything. Sometimes it takes three, four before you start to get the feel for it. Before the negative entities decide to come and man up and follow you around.
You see it, a woman up or a couple Latin lessons, you'll be good. You'll be following you around for you. The only way I'm learning Latin is to attract the Latinos. Latinos.
Latinos. That's how you say it is. That's how it is. You're fit.
So many questions. I was up late last night. So many questions answered. So do you prefer burritos or tacos?
Okay, back to the topic. I would challenge you before you get a real good feel. You need to go three, four or five times. No, not going to happen.
Well, interestingly enough, that's kind of where I was going with all that, is, you know, for instance, I know when you're complaints when I was talking to each of the complaints, let me back up here before I said that I sent the three skeptics off. Hefe is a huge skeptic. Hefe's brother. We've called him Bo for years.
And he's done. And he's done. And that was a three I sent off. And done is actually one of our investigators.
And he's a working skeptic. He believes, but he kind of needs to see evidence. And those who've been on public cuts with us have actually hunted with him. He's kind of on the fence.
So when I say that I set the three skeptics off, it wasn't like I sent three people who've never been on a ghost hunt off to ghost hunt. So there was an experience there. It's just the three most skeptical people in the entire party were in a group. But I know that when your complaints was like the flashlights were kind of giving you wishy-washy answers.
Well, so was the EMF? Right. And what I was going with that, though, and this kind of ties into what Jan was saying, is that sometimes you get that, but sometimes you actually get very intelligent responses on some ghost investigations. You'll get very concise and clear yes and no's to your answers.
And it's a thing to get with experience. It's good to be skeptical. But eventually you're going to get to a point where you will see something or hear something where you kind of go, but I'm going to challenge you now scientifically because to have an actual scientific experiment that works, you've got to eliminate the variables. And so for you to tell me sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, you never know if this time it's working and this time it's not.
And you know, I have to say that makes me think of an example from last night where we had a lot of equipment out on the table. We were doing a flashlight test and we were against some really good responses. But at one point you came in. I think most people listen to the show probably know what a flashlight test is, but it might be something that he doesn't.
A flashlight test is where you have a mag light. Not the kind that clicks on and off, but you have to twist it to make it come on and you get the flashlight just to the point where it's still off, but about to come on. Excuse me. And what you do is when you're in the presence of an intelligent entity, they can use the flashlight harness their energy to make the flashlight come on and off.
And you can use that as a way of having yes and no conversations. And at one point we had the flashlight test going really well. There were some very intelligent responses we were getting, but at one point, you know, half a you came in and we were like, you know, well, turn the flashlight on the count of three, one, two, three. It wouldn't happen exactly on three, but within a short amount of time afterwards, you know, five or six seconds.
No, not quite that long, but longer than I would have liked to have seen to become a believer. And then same thing. I mean, it'd come on really quickly and be really bright. So you could tell it was it wasn't just, you know, the flashlight coming on by itself.
It was actually being manipulated. And then we'd say, you know, we'll turn it off on the count of three and we'd count three and it wouldn't exactly be on three, but a few seconds later. Yeah. And this is why I say, you know, the more you go on, the more you do it, the more you start to say, okay, this one is intelligent one because I'm asking questions and it's answering as opposed to, you know, they're just playing with it or they're, you know, they, whatever it is.
Because there's been times when I've done flashlight tests where you have an actual conversation, you can ask yes, no questions. Last time I had a really good one was at Fort Douglas. And we were asked, we got all sorts of information out of the spirit. And when Brandy P came later, she verified quite a bit of it, if I remember.
But then I've had flashlight tests where it's come off and on and off and on. But there's no rhyme or reason to it and I'll get up and I'll, you know, change the battery in the flashlight. It's more like they're just having fun. Just making the flashlight come on and off and everything.
And here's sometimes you can turn your flashlight out there and it won't do that damn thing. Exactly. But all those variables, but we were getting a believer. And I just can't say we were getting actual valid responses back.
There's another member of our group that has shown how you can get false readings from a flashlight test. But we were getting legitimate answers. And just because they didn't happen exactly when you say, you know, turn on, turn off, turn on, turn off. But if you did that to me, I would do it.
And that's it. You don't have to go in our energy. But my problem is this is all theory. There's no scientific evidence based on this.
And they say, but one other thing, one other factor I'd like to throw into all this is that in theory, we're dealing with the spirits of people or negative entities that have passed or who've never lived. And just like you or I have free will, so these things, and you can put a flashlight out there and you can be like, are you a man or woman? And they can kind of hang in the middle finger and say, screw you, I don't want to talk or deep deep deep deep deep deep and just poke the flash. Should probably do that more.
But they can just poke the flashlight and just screw around with it. And so you also have to factor in theory. How much do they want to cooperate? Castle and I went and did a residential.
I'm not too long ago. And we were getting intelligent responses. Which one of this? You'll know which one it is.
We're getting very intelligent responses in the bathroom. Is DeAnn your bigger sister or little sister? Yeah, sure. I know.
Bigger. Bigger. It depends how you define that. I'm a older sister.
Oh, so you're old? You're saying you're old? I'm old. Okay.
So anyway, we're getting intelligent responses. And then the intelligent responses were so good. It's like, okay, let's narrow it down. Let's see if we can figure out what your name is.
Your name is dark between A or an F, turn the line on. Anyway, we figured out, three yes or no questions that the name was the letter C. And so we said something like, is your name Clarence? You know, this is like the third or fourth C name we could think of.
And you know, the flashlight comes on. Anyway, Castle has an EDP and you hear a woman's voice because we had determined it was a man. And we got this woman's voice that says, sure, you know, so they can kind of make you can kind of tell us make in front of us. Like, is your name Cornwallis?
You hear this? Sure. Whatever. Sure.
Just leave me alone. So they mess with you. Sorry. I was saying for the record, that's actually what I called this.
A long time ago, as Cornwallis. We can say I guarantee when I die, when people try to talk to me, that's exactly how I'm going to turn down. Turned out. Her name was like Janet.
Yeah. Janet Cornwallis are kind of close. They both have bells in them. Once man.
So there you go. Anyway, so to sum it up, it was, I mean, it was an interesting experience, but it definitely wasn't something that made me go they're out there, everybody. The ghosts are there. Just being at the venue at night in a thunderstorm, running around in the dark with like 10 or 12 other people having a whole place to yourself.
That was fun. It was. It was a lot of fun. There could have been nothing going on.
