If re-elected, National says it will modernise New Zealand's sexual consent laws to make it clear consent requires an explicit yes, rather than the absence of no. Currently, the Crimes Act gives examples of what consent is not, without defining what it is. Advocate Layba Zubair spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
