social media has soooo many ideas for us when it comes to being "aesthetic." from telling us what aesthetic we are to what items we need to have to be aesthetic, we are practically given an image of what a picture perfect aesthetic life is. this is one example of how social media controls our lives. what being "aesthetic" really means is doing, not only having, what makes you happy, and blocking out all other factors telling us what a happy life has to include. living life on your own terms, without social media influencing us, is what living an aesthetic life really means.
