AEW Dynamite Grand Slam results, Omega vs. Danielson, NXT sets new tone

AEW made history with Grand Slam, the largest non-WWE wrestling show since 1999, on a special episode of Dynamite from Queens, New York. Host Adam Silverstein and co-host Chris Vannini convene to break down the entire show [5:00], starting with the dream match that opened Grand Slam as Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson fought to a 30-minute time-limit draw. The guys discuss the incredible match before debating the booking and execution of the finish as well as the entire presentation of the bout. "The Silver King" and "Vintage" then run through the rest of the card, including CM Punk's promo, a possible heel change for Cody Rhodes as part of a messy match with Malakai Black and the women's title main event with Britt Baker and Ruby Soho. The guys also discuss what happened last week on AEW Rampage [57:30] before Adam tackles the second week of the revamped NXT [1:07:45], including Tomasso Ciampa's state of NXT promo, Bron Breakker continuing to impress, the potential for Toxic Attraction and whether NXT is trying to simply do too much every week.
