Bij een 14-0 voorsprong voor de Limburg Shotguns, blesseerde een speler van de Brussels Tigers zich en was medische bijstand gevraagd. Die was er niet... Vanaf dat moment was het onduidelijk wat er gebeurde, zowel op als naast het veld. Wanneer het duidelijk werd dat er niet meer gespeeld ging worden, vroegen we bij Shotguns defensive coordinator Jean-Marc Bottin om een heldere uitleg te geven over wat er gaande was, zonder specifiek partij te kiezen. De BAFL heeft de beslissing rond deze wedstrijd in handen en wachten wij dan ook af. Het zou zonde zijn moest een finaleplaats beslist worden zonder sportieve prestaties.
