Mens mange holder juleferie, er Afrikas største fodboldfest i fuld gang. Fodboldturneringen AFCON startede i søndags - en turnering kendt for kaos, klasse og vilde øjeblikke, men også for at være meget mere end sport. I dag dykker vi ned i, hvad de afrikanske landshold betyder for nationer præget af kolonihistorie, diaspora og politiske spændinger. Afrikajournalist og forfatter til "Det Lysende Hjerte", Oscar Rothstein, gæster studiet og forklarer, hvorfor AFCON er et spejl på Afrika i dag. Vi har også været til åbningskampen med marokkanske fans for at tage pulsen på festen.
