Affordable Housing

Episode 2 of Don't Sleep New York explores the concept of Affordable Housing in New York City. Hosts Arpan, Matt and Ranajoy explore the basics - how affordable housing is calculated and who it's for - and discuss some of the implications this has for the city and the next mayor. Affordable Housing is an incredibly complex topic that touches on everything from climate change to homelessness to education and more. For the purposes of this episode, we’re keeping it simple, to help you better understand the discussions you might hear about affordable housing, especially in the lead-up to the mayoral race.
