Afraid of the Dark: Light & Dark // Forrest Jenan

Life is a series of contrasts – joy and sorrow, hope and despair, light and dark. And yet, it’s so much easier for us to focus on the shadows rather than the light. We can feel consumed by the darkness of personal failures, relational tensions, and uncertainties about the future. But from the very beginning of creation, there has been a light to illuminate our path. A light rooted in timeless, unconditional, divine love. From the opening words of Genesis, we hear God’s desire for both our world and our lives: “Let there be light”.
