President Zuma was the keynote speaker of the day yesterday, which commemorates the formation of the Organisation for African Unity in 1963, the predecessor of the African Union. Many of those who spoke reiterated that the recent spate of xenophobic violence was not in South Africans nature. Zuma was accompanied by African Union Commission Chairperson, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Arts and Culture Minister, Nathi Mthethwa and International Relations minister, Maite Nkoana- Mashabane, amongst others.
