Jean Ziegler (born 1934), politician, political scientist and well-known non-fiction author, has long been considered the "enfant terrible" of Switzerland. From 2000 to 2008, Jean Ziegler was UN Special Rapporteur on the "Right to Food". With his books on Switzerland as a financial laundering facility of international crime and on the "gold of the Nazis" in Swiss banks, as well as his commitment to refugees, the long-standing Social Democratic National Councillor in Geneva was often exposed to public hostility. In this conversation, Jean Ziegler, who himself lived in the Congo for several years, explains the importance of African cultures for the political emancipation from modern slavery by the West, Russia and China. 📚 Veröffentlichungen u.a. / publicatios a.o.: - Jean Ziegler: ”Die Schande Europas.
