AfriForum takes on Senzo Meyiwa murder investigation

SAfm — Head of AfriForum's Private Prosecution Unit, Advocate Gerrie Nel has been appointed as the Meyiwa family's advocate in the murder investigation into the death of former goalkeeper and captain of Bafana Bafana, Senzo Meyiwa. AfriForum says they took the case as it's their duty to prevent the criminal justice system from collapsing. Meyiwa was shot and killed in a house in Vosloorus five years ago at the age of 27, and no prosecution has been instituted by the National Prosecuting Authority to date.
