Afrobeats Takeover!

Lately it seems the world over has started to recognize the smooth sounds of Afrobeats, with CKay’s “Love Nwantiti” hitting #1 this year as one of many examples. So the Tribe decided to take a look at back to the Motherland and break it all down based on their own experiences. What is Afrobeats? Which artist are running the genre? Does Ghana even have any artists in play?? Did Drake bring it to the West? And how come East Africa getting left out?! From Fela to Burna we celebrate the most rhythmic and joyous genre around! Check the Rhyme at the 10 minute mark! Intro music: Panama Rain Prod. by Danya Vodovoz | https://danyavodovoz.bandcamp.com/tra... | Royalty-free music Hope you enjoyed the episode!
