Sandman, who is a Queens, NY native-received an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently enrolled in the Hofstra University School of Law. He left law school to pursue his career as an emcee and is currently signed with the legendary indie label, Stones Throw Records. Sandman is paying a visit to Afronerd Studios to discuss his hip hop career, aspirations and his recent controversial Gawker article entitled, Black People are Cowards in response to the recent L.A.
