The grownups in my life told me that after slavery, there were no "real" problems for black people. That was the narrative I was fed as a kid.  And now the #GQP wants to go back to that model of education.  You know- -the REVISIONIST one. Some of the kids I grew up with are actual loud and proud Nazis now.   I wonder why.
