Sometimes self-care is ten minutes to yourself or hiding upstairs so the kids don't know you are home when their other parent is in charge, or saying no to getting married before you are ready. And sleep, having someone else hold the baby or toddler or doing whatever.  And lots of "Fuck offs!!!" at the end there, so that was fun!
