Aftert the Ashes - Audio

from Calvary Chapel Lubbock Hosted by Pastor Ben Martinez

The Series: Suffering in Hope Book of Lamentations - A verse by verse study through the book of Lamentations. Today's Lesson covers Lamentations Ch 1 v 22 After the Ashes Lamentations is a unique book in the Old Testament. It contains five poems from an anonymous author, who survived and is reflecting back on Babylon’s siege of Jerusalem and the destruction and exile. As a memorial to the Israelites’ pain and confusion following the destruction of Jerusalem, Lamentations shows how prayerful lament is a crucial part of our journey of faith in a broken world.
