AG Blanche's Political Surge Sparks Debate | San Antonio News

Attorney General Todd Blanche is stirring controversy by openly endorsing Republican candidates and former President Trump at political events, a bold move that challenges the Justice Department’s traditional neutrality. Once a Trump lawyer, Blanche now champions the administration’s crime and border policies while calling Trump the “greatest president of our generation.” Though the Justice Department insists his appearances are personal and ethically cleared, watchdogs argue they violate the Hatch Act. This sparks debate over whether the department’s impartiality is slipping as Blanche blurs the line between public service and partisan politics.
