AG Josh Kaul on Wisconsin's prep for resistance
from WORT 89.9FM Madison · host WORT 89.9FM Madison
On January 24, United States Attorney General Pam Bondi sent a letter to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, demanding that the state share records on Medicaid and SNAP data, end sanctuary policies, and allow federal access to voter rolls. In response, 22 Attorney Generals, including Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul, signed a letter calling the demands an intrusion on state sovereignty and individual privacy. Last week, News Director Nate Carlin spoke with AG Kaul on why he wrote the letter, and how Wisconsin is preparing for a similar federal incursion like the one in Minnesota.
