Against the Odds: Helping Women Step into Their Shine

The Women's Bean Project in Denver hires women with multiple barriers to employment that include histories of substance misuse, former incarceration, histories of domestic violence, and homelessness. This non-profit provides a safe and accepting work environment where women can earn a paycheck while addressing the issues that have prevented them from getting and keeping a job.
