Aging in a Country That Doesn't Care About the Elderly

It’s not easy living in America as a senior citizen.I don’t speak from experience about this. Yet. But it’s coming. At age 51, I see and feel the changes I’ve been going through for a while, now. It’s also evident as I spend more time with my parents.I even notice it in my furry little sidekick, Mooch. She’s going to be 14 this spring. It’s starting to show.In today’s podcast episode, I talk about these things and how it’s difficult to watch them happen. As they progress, I find myself worrying more and more about the elderly folks in our country. How do they get by in this era of cruelty and uncaringness by the Trump administration?I don’t want my folks to suffer. Or anyone else.
