Fideler received her doctorate in administration, planning, and social policy from Harvard University. She is a founding member of the Sloan Research Network on Aging & Work, Boston College. With a background in classroom teaching, senior management positions at non-profit organizations, and education research, she successfully redirected her research and writing skills to address the extended work-life phenomenon.
