Agora #56: Left, Right, and the Prospects for Sanity

We at the Agora Podcast have noticed some dangerous trends. Over the past decade or so, much of the ideas we discuss, and others that are potentially liberatory or promote healthier lifestyles, are becoming very “right-coded” in our culture. At the same time, questioning authority, entrenched power, and institutions is being ceded to far-right ideologues and being discouraged by social pressure and stigma. We discuss the origin of these trends, their implications, and our opinions on what can be done about them.
