Agoura Road Closures for Wildlife Crossing | Los Angeles News
from Los Angeles News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Agoura Road is shutting down twice—this Friday and again on Wednesday, August 19th—between Rondell Street and Hydepark Drive for the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing. No traffic, bikes, or pedestrians will be allowed during closures, so plan to detour via the 101 freeway using designated ramps. Free shuttles run every 30 minutes from 7 AM to 5 PM to help walkers and bikers bypass the zone. Bus stops are also temporarily relocated. This vital project aims to give mountain lions, deer, and other wildlife a safe crossing over the freeway, reconnecting fragmented habitats. Weather may delay work, so stay tuned for updates—but mark those dates anyway. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
