Agree to Disagree: Trash, Treasure, and Hot Takes

This week on Psyber Conversations, we take a quick detour from the MCU before diving into Avengers: Infinity War and kick off summer with a good old-fashioned movie debate. Each host brings two picks to the table: one movie they love that everyone else seems to hate, and one movie they can’t stand that everybody else seems to love. The result is a chaotic mix of guilty pleasures, hot takes, questionable defenses, and several moments where friendship is tested by Rotten Tomatoes scores. On the docket: 13 Ghosts, Encino Man, Jumper, Terminator: Dark Fate, The Last Airbender, Hook, Rocky Horror Picture Show, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Forrest Gump, The Fast and the Furious, and a few bonus side quests involving Dune, Star Wars, Tron, and whether some movies are better because of when we saw them, not necessarily because they’re “good.” The episode is built around the show’s core idea: defend your hill, take the jokes, and still agree to disagree.
