The creation of a free trade agreement between Brazil and India may result in a cumulative increase of US$ 21 billion in Brazilian exports to India until 2035. According to the study, the reduction of tariff barriers between the both countries should benefit the volume of Brazilian exports, especially in sectors such as oil and gas, sugar, mineral derivatives such as iron and steel, and the chemical sector.
