Agriculture In-depth-- Hughes and Stanley County 4-H'ers gearing up for Achievement Days

Prairie Winds 4-H'ers will participate in their annual Achievement Days activities Aug. 2-3, 2026, in Fort Pierre. SDSU Extension 4-H Educator in Hughes and Stanley counties Michelle Barrett says static exhibits will be in the Community Youth Involved Center and animal exhibits will be shown at the Shomer Barn on the Stanley County Fairgrounds. Volunteers are always welcome to help out at the Prairie Winds 4-H Achievement Days in Fort Pierre. If you’d like to pitch in, call the Extension Office at 605-223-7730.
