Agriculture vs. Climate Change, Health Impact of Loneliness, and Motivational Monday

from The Morning Brew with Andrew Schultz · host Corus Radio

If you’re an Alberta farmer you’re probably hoping for some snow after our dry summer. Canada’s so-called agricultural “bread basket” area is getting hotter and drier according to a study co-authored by experts from the University of Alberta. We broke down the info with Dr. Emmanuel Mapfumo, Associate Professor of Environmental Services at Concordia University.   Feeling lonely is awful - but is it ‘bad' for our health? To get the answer, we made an appointment with Dr. Ted Jablonski, our “on-call” Family Physician. Dr J began the conversation explaining how being lonely can actually impact our health and wellness.   And on this Motivational Monday, we talk to the author of a new book called “Resilience”. Owner of One On One Personal Fitness, Sandra Beuckert-Davison explains to us why she says “we are not what has happened to us”.
