Joining the Amazing Human Podcast today is successful entrepreneur David Fisher, one-third of the face behind the name Crystal Blue Yacht Charters. Originally from Melbourne David and his wife/ business partner Amanda have sailed through all sorts of ventures, from door to door sales, running a juice and crepe bar to owning their own fashion company called ‘Mimosa Clothing’, located in the heart of Byron Bay, David and Amanda have done it all. On Australia day of 2016, Crystal Blue [the yacht] happened to come up for sale. After being invited out for a day on the water, David identified the lack of luxury yachts on the Gold Coast charter market. Taking the previous layout and turning it into something a little more luxurious together, Crystal Blue Yacht Charters was born. Throughout the years, David learned just how important being able to take control of your business is and being able to trust those around you and their skill sets even if they may differ from your own. David was able to travel the world, living in Hong Kong for four years and now running the number 1 luxury yacht company on the Gold Coast.
