In the first episode of our new Awesome Humans series, we are back in our podcasting studio at HQGC interview some awesome guest. Host, Brett McCallum sat down with Celeste Barber’s Hot Husband, Api Robin. Many people around the world know Api as Hot Husband. Although he didn't take his shirt off for this podcast, Api shared insight into his life and shared his awesome human story with old school friend Brett. Api story takes us back to his first-ever memory, watching the Sharks on TV. Although it has been a tuff couple year prior for the footy team, Api reflects on when the Shire Sharks took home the 2016 premiership. Api shares the story on how he met Australia’s favourite comedian, Celeste Barber one night at a bar, with dreds the size of a bob cut. He opens up about how he traded in his career of climbing trees as an arborist for a spot behind the camera. His career now consists of mock photoshoots with flying bags, tight clothes and hilarious dance moves. Today Api, like most Australian parents, is struggling with the battle of homeschooling and being confined to the house. He is continuing to be the man behind the camera for the infamous Instagram post from Celeste Barber and hanging with celebrities, Kelly Slater and Cindy Crawford.
