Ahmad Hardy On The Mend

Ahmad Hardy’s recovery is progressing well after his May gunshot wound, with Coach Drinkwitz confirming he’s back in Columbia, rehabbing daily at the facility. Though his football future remains uncertain, his health is improving steadily. A standout SEC rusher last season with 1,600 yards and 16 TDs, Hardy earned SEC Newcomer of the Year and All-SEC First-Team honors before the injury. The coaching staff is taking a cautious, day-by-day approach, as there’s no standard protocol for this type of injury — for now, the focus is squarely on his healing and well-being.
