AI health coach boosts engagement with high-need patients

Doctors say a field test of an AI health coach is showing signs of higher engagement with high-need patients. A single AI assisted outreach by Tamaki Health saw about seven times as many people enrol in a programme for people living with diabetes, compared to the clinics' previous efforts. Tamaki Health's Wellness Support Team clinical director Dr David Codyre spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
