Valentin Hartmann has just completed his Phd at EPFL in date science and AI. During his final year of research, he focused on the use of AI in language learning. Together with other recent graduates like himself, he set up a start-up specializing in this field. He goes back to the origins of this project, explaining how this tool works to meet the needs of people motivated to learn a new language but lacking the time to do so.
