AIRPLANE! (1980) Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch! | Robert Hays | Leslie Nielsen | Julie Hagerty

Michael & Brandon watch Airplane!, a timeless spoof comedy that parodies disaster films with slapstick humor, absurd gags, and unforgettable one-liners. When the crew of a commercial flight falls ill, a traumatized ex-pilot must land the plane—with the fate of everyone onboard in his hands. Wildly over-the-top and endlessly quotable, it remains one of the funniest films ever made. Directed by Jim Abrahams, David Zucker, and Jerry Zucker (The Naked Gun, Top Secret!, Ruthless People), the film stars Robert Hays (Starman, Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, That ’70s Show), Julie Hagerty (Lost in Translation, Marriage Story, Freddy Got Fingered), Leslie Nielsen (The Naked Gun, Forbidden Planet, Dracula: Dead and Loving It), Robert Stack (Unsolved Mysteries, The Untouchables, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America), Lloyd Bridges (Hot Shots!, Sea Hunt, Jane Austen’s Mafia!), Peter Graves (Mission: Impossible, The Night of the Hunter, Stalag 17), and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Fletch, The Stand, The Big Score).
