Did you know there is an airport near Kenting? But no one is using it anymore. 你知道墾丁附近有一座現在已經沒有人在使用的機場嗎？ Many people thought building an airport near Kenting was a good idea. They said, "People from anywhere in Taiwan can fly to Hengchun Airport! That will be faster than driving!" 當年是希望大家可以坐飛機來墾丁玩，所以蓋了恆春機場。 But there were some problems. The wind in the Hengchun area is sometimes super strong. Airplanes tried to land at the airport… but the winds were too strong. It was too dangerous… so in the end, airplanes stopped using the Hengchun Airport. 恆春的落山風太強，飛機起降很危險，所以停止使用這個機場。 But… some people now have an interesting idea! They want to turn the airport into a place to race cars… a racetrack! 有人想到可以把機場改成賽車跑道！ People would come to watch the car races… and the people in Hengchun and Kenting could make money from the visitors. I like this idea! Car racing can be very exciting. But you need to be safe!
