The Ontario Coalition Against Poverty (OCAP) has been one of the leading organizations in the struggle for social justice within Canada for several decades. Offering incisive interventions into theories of the state and bureaucracies, and detailing the work of poor people struggling for epistemic and material justice, Withers’ book is a must-read for those who are interested in what it takes to fight to win.
