AJA Launches Compact KUMO 6464-12G Router | NAB 2025

We’re at NAB 2025 on the AJA stand with Andy Bellamy, diving into their latest innovation in routing and control—the KUMO 6464-12G.This new high-density 12G-SDI router offers 64x64 routing in just 4RU, making it ideal for compact environments like OB trucks, broadcast control rooms, and on-set production. Despite its power, it's completely fanless—a major plus for environments where noise is critical, such as audio-sensitive setups. With dual power supplies for redundancy, support for RS-422 (Grass Valley protocol), full Ethernet control, and the ability to store and switch between salvos, the KUMO 6464-12G is built for flexible, real-time routing across demanding workflows.
