Naša poslušalka je večkrat že pripravila ocvirkovo potico, zanima jo, ali bi jo lahko pripravila tudi z ajdovo moko, se pravi, da bi nastala ajdova ocvirkovka. Kako naj to naredil? Sestra Nikolina odgovarja: potrebujemo ajdovo in pšenično moko. 30 dag (ali do ½ kg ajdove moke) poparimo z vrelo slano vodo, da dobimo žganec. Razširimo ga in dodamo še ostalo moko (vsega skupaj je 1 kg moke), v jamico na sredi dodamo 3 dag kvasa. Ko bo začel delovati, z roko mešamo in napravimo testo. Po malem prilivamo tekočino in naredimo srednje krepko testo. Pustimo vzhajati, nato razvaljamo in potresemo s toplimi, a odcejenimi ocvirki. Ocvirki ne smejo biti prekajeni, lahko pa zraven damo polovico kuhane in narezane kranjske klobase ... Zavijemo kot potico, damo v model in vzhajati. Pred peko pomažemo z jajcem ali črno kavo in prebodemo s pletilko. Ko je pečena, jo pokrijemo.
