Al McGlashan - Passion Turned Profession in the Land Down Under

Growing up I always dreamed of going to Australia one day.  It was like looking at another world.  All the fish and wildlife that lives there, the amazing landscape and of course, Mick Dundee!  It is still on the top of my list to visit one day and I will go hopefully sooner, than later.  A few years ago, I was flipping through Netflix and came across a show called Fishin with Mates hosted by Al McGlashan.  This show was great!  Amazing fishing locations across the world, great guests and just a fun show to watch.  Little did I know, but a year later I would run into Al at ICAST in Florida and we struck up a great conversation and have stayed in touch ever since.  Al is one of the premier photographers in the world and specializes in underwater footage.  His shots have graced the covers and spreads of countless magazines over the last 20 years.  Besides the photography, Al has been a leader in outdoor television in Australia and has become a true ambassador for the recreational fishermen in standing up for strong conservation management of the fisheries.  I can't wait until the day I get to spend some time with Al on the water!
