John Williams Sr., the sheriff of Lowndes County, Ala., is killed in the line of duty on Nov. 23.  "Toccopola Storyteller" Jerry Short recalls the 1981 slaying of a deputy sheriff in Montgomery County, Miss.  College football's easiest weekend of the year goes off without an embarrassing hitch in the ACC and SEC.  Also, that Thanksgiving turkey is likely to cost a little more in 2019.
