Alan Beckley is an entrepreneur, inventor, and a consultant to small businesses. In 2002, tired of sitting on bulky wallets stuffed with hard to find cards, he invented the solution: a wallet laid out like a photo album that could hold twice as many cards yet remain half as thick and comfortable to sit on. Inventing the product and obtaining two patents turned out to be the easy part, the hard part was getting it into the marketplace successfully.
