It All Begins with Good Will and Respect: Community Outreach as a Key Ingredient to a Library's SuccessCommunity Outreach can and should be as natural to libraries as collections or staff or programs and services. Creating collaborations with community leaders and agencies is an incredibly powerful way to develop one's community, extend and enhance the Library's work, build employee capacity and leadership, and generate advocacy.  Together we'll explore the ideas of building community coalitions, searching for appropriate Library partners, creating opportunities, and learning what works, what doesn't and when it's time to look in another direction.A captioned version of this presentation is available on the SLIS Website.
