Albert Mohler: Brace Yourself
from Townhall Review | Commentaries Hosted by Salem Podcast Network
The Democratic Socialists of America want a revolution. They want to eliminate the police, empty jails, socialize medical care and housing, and eventually take their revolution through the entire society. As for the nation's constitutional system, nothing less than a new revolution will do. They're demanding the abolition of the Electoral College. They want to eliminate the Presidency. They want to eliminate the Senate. On their website, they also have an article promising to rip up the “old rulebook.” That “old rulebook” is called the Constitution of the United States of America. Brace yourselves for a political transformation that has the potential to reshape the entire American political landscape, throw away the U.S. Constitution, destroy the free market, eliminate private ownership of corporations and real estate, and build a brave new world. Comrades, you have been warned.
