Alberta Bound | Final Part 🏔️🧡

from ambrresilienceco · host Amber Jenkins

11 days, hundreds of kilometers, and a whole lot of memories. 🧡 From Revelstoke and the Canadian Rockies to rafting 18 km down the freezing Kootenay River, exploring the Athabasca Glacier, visiting Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary, and discovering Calgary, this road trip was full of adventure, unexpected moments, and some incredible places. But behind all the beautiful scenery was another side of the trip — navigating life with POTS. Some days my body cooperated, and other days even the smallest things felt exhausting. There were challenges, adjustments, and moments when I had to remind myself that slowing down doesn't mean missing out. This episode is a little bit of everything: adventure, history, laughs, chronic illness, and learning to enjoy life even when things don't go exactly as planned. Because living with a chronic illness doesn't mean you stop wanting to explore the world. Sometimes you just have to find a different way to do it. It doesn't have to be perfect to count. Just you trying is enough. 🧡 Thanks for coming along for the adventure! #AmbrResilienceCo #AlbertaBound #POTS #ChronicIllness #AlbertaRoadTrip #CanadianRockies #AdventureWithPOTS
