Alberta's Future Decided at Virtual Summit | Calgary News

Alberta’s future is on the table at a major virtual summit this weekend — “Alberta and the West” brings together diverse voices to debate the province’s role in Canada, especially ahead of the looming referendum. Co-chaired by Preston Manning and Gordon Campbell, the event promises neutral, in-depth discussions without pushing any agenda. Premier Danielle Smith will outline Alberta’s path toward strength and sovereignty within Canada, while Sunday dives into secession with perspectives from both supporters and opponents of the referendum. All sessions are livestreamed with audience Q&A — your chance to hear key players lay out the stakes and help you decide what’s next for Alberta.
