Alberta's New Wildfire Fighting Strategy

Alberta unveils new wildfire fighting strategy, offering $125,000 in provincial funds for immediate response, following a blaze that destroyed three homes near Edmonton. The plan aims to streamline recovery efforts and bolster wildland urban interface teams. A $400 million deal secures five new water bombers, but the first wont be ready until 2031. With the south dry and grass fires already igniting, the province prepares for potential heatwaves. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
