Alberta's Oil Best?

When politicians boast about the oil in Alberta being the cleanest, most environmentally sound in the world, is it based in fact or are they just breaking out the pom-poms to cheer on an industry in an effort to win votes? Well, a study done by a University of Calgary associate professor and colleagues at Stanford says Canada has one of the most carbon-intensive oil industries in the world but is also a world leader in regulations for limiting climate-change impact.
